Cultural heritage is irrecoverable treasure of every nation; it indicates the development of community and demonstrates its cultural level and education. Reasons of damage or cultural heritage devastation vary: threats can be caused by anthropogenic or environmental affects, war conflict, terrorist attacks, etc. Cultural heritage protection is included into the Constitution as well as into further legislative acts and standards. Evacuation of movable cultural heritage is one way of its protection; there are high requirements for professional preparation as well as competent and complex logistic support.

The aim of this paper is the idea of using ArcGIS systems at the platform of results within the international cross-border project HUSK: Flood modelling and logistic model development for flood crisis management, as the tool in the security practice and crisis management education. Planning is an important element in each process separately and is particularly important in protecting the health and property of the population. but also rescuers. Contribution emphasizes the importance of input data for each phase of crisis management and the protection of rescuers too.

The article presents the concept of building a transport system model based on the example of maritime aviation SAR service. The applied methodology of efficiency assessment lists the individual elements of the system and then, after applying the mathematical formalization, aims to describe the structure of the system. Both the transport means and the system components necessary for the transport task have been parameterized, with particular emphasis on logistic aspects that support the rescue system.

The solution of both the military and non-military phenomena requires a massive logistic support. It is impossible to cope successfully with any loss, and to minimise the damages and losses without sufficient material and technical provision of the emergency and security units and the affected citizens as well. The history proves that the preparation for solving the crisis phenomena was neglected and the logistic support of the emergency activities was insufficient.

The main focus of this paper is the capabilities of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles as a military logistic support in conflicts areas. The conducted research addresses the problems of traditional military delivery methods. Next, the problem of using UAVs only for civilian purposes is considered. The paper begins with short elucidation of logistic support and further provides the classification of logistic materials and discusses five categories of military equipment from the logistics point of view. Next, the paper discusses the characteristics of the parameters and properties of the chosen existing UAVs that are used for the delivery of materials. Consequently, a comparison of the UAVs is carried out, and new technologies for logistic transport are presented. This paper is concluded with the claim that it is necessary to modernize the process of logistic support in the military.

Background: The aim of the considerations is to present the concept of the ecological footprint of logistic support for a rescue operation on the example of a natural disaster. Increasing pressure of environmental requirements placed on all logistic activities, including logistic support, justifies the attention drawn to the subject. Methods: Selecting a natural disaster – as a reference for the concept of the ecological footprint – constitutes an attempt to draw attention to the fact that logistic support for a rescue operation in the case of a natural disaster – apart from an unquestionably positive role – also negatively affects the environment, which should be exposed, and this will be manifested by creation of measuring and analysing instruments necessary within undertaken activities aimed at minimalization of the negative impact of logistic support on the environment. The ecological footprint can be considered to be such an instrument. Results: Based on the general formula of the ecological footprint and its methodology presented in “Working Guidebook to the National Footprint Accounts 2014”, a formula of the ecological footprint of logistic support for a rescue operation on the example of a natural disaster was created. Conclusions: The assumptions of the concept of the ecological footprint of logistic support for a rescue operation on the example of a natural disaster were based on the assumptions of logistic support for a rescue operation and on the assumptions of the resource concept and external costs of logistic support for a rescue operation on the example of a natural disaster.

The purpose of the prepared material is to demonstrate the selected aspects of logistic terrain assessment in the context of the provision of logistic support for troops during tactical operations. The development of the article was preceded by a series of multifaceted analyses of professional literature and periodicals devoted to the military terrain analysis and specific combat environments, as well as determinants of logistical support, which consequently enabled the synthesis and formulation of conclusions.

Replenishment at sea is a process which plays the key role in the contemporary naval logistics during military and crisis operations. As the last element of the supply chain, it must use specific standards within the areas of procedures, technical equipment, logistic assets and resources, as well as safety, especially in multinational operations. The methods applied enable ships to operate at sea in the long term without logistic support provided by sea ports. The paper explains all the methods of the solids and liquids replenishment, and also gives an idea how to estimate the resupply process, using the measures. The level of standardization of procedures and assets implemented by NATO, the EU and other willing states has been described
