W artykule omówiono istotę i znaczenie marketingu terytorialnego w ujęciu teoretycznym i praktycznym. Na tle analitycznych rozważań odnoszących się do zagadnień marketingu terytorialnego, zaprezentowano wybrane obszary aktywności marketingowej gminy. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji marketingu terytorialnego oraz sposobów jej wykorzystania na przykładzie wytypowanej jednostki samorządu lokalnego. Dokonanie całościowej oceny efektów działań marketingowych administracji samorządowej jest trudne ze względu na problem obiektywnego pomiaru jej jakości i efektywności oraz konieczności prowadzenia szeroko zakrojonych badań o charakterze jakościowym. W artykule dokonano identyfikacji działań na rzecz marketingu terytorialnego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem przedsięwzięć o charakterze promocyjnym. Badanie oparto na audycie elektronicznym oraz weryfikacji serwisów internetowych.

In this article, I discussed the nature and meaning of territorial marketing from theoretical and practical perspective. Selected areas of marketing activity of commune referring to the issues of territorial marketing were presented. The aim of the article is to present a concept of territorial marketing and ways of its use illustrated with an example of specific local government unit. Comprehensive assessment of the effects of marketing activities of self-government administration is difficult due to a problem of objective measurement of its quality, effectiveness and necessity to conduct extensive research of qualitative character. In this article, identification of activities for territorial marketing was performed, with particular emphasis on promotional activities. The research was based on electronic audit and verification of websites.
