The motifs of mystical thanatology in The Garden of Divine Songs by Gregory Skovoroda The article deals with the role that religious-philosophical reflection about death plays in Gregory Skovoroda’s poetical book The Garden of Divine Songs. The subject matter is based not only on the themes of the Bible but also on the individual mystical experience of this great Ukrainian poet of the 18th century.
