Wypalenie zawodowe jest zjawiskiem często opisywanym i badanym w kontekście zawodu nauczyciela. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań przy użyciu Kwestionariusza Nauczyciela, którego elementem jest skala do diagnozy symptomów wypalenia zawodowego w grupie nauczycieli. Skala składa się z trzech podskal: brak satysfakcji z pracy zawodowej, trudności w pracy z uczniami oraz negatywna opinia o wykonywanym zawodzie. Badania kwestionariuszowe przeprowadzono w grupie nauczycieli szkół ponadgimnazjalnych: liceów ogólnokształcących, szkół zawodowych oraz techników (N=1691). Okazało się, że nauczyciele, którzy wyróżniają się wyższym nasileniem symptomów wypalenia zawodowego to częściej mężczyźni, osoby z młodszych grup wiekowych, stosujące mniej aktywne strategie w pracy z uczniami, uczące przedmiotów ścisłych oraz posiadające negatywne opinie o uczniach i zawodzie.

The job burnout is a phenomenon often described and studied in the context of the teaching profession. This paper presents results of studies using the scale for diagnosis of the symptoms of job burnout among teachers. The scale is part of Teacher Questionnaire, consists of three subscales: lack of satisfaction with the work, difficulties in working with students and the negative opinion of the profession. A survey was conducted among teachers of secondary schools: general lyceum, vocational schools and technical schools (N = 1691). The analyses reviled that a group of teachers who are distinguished by higher scores on the burnout scale are mostly men, those from younger age groups, using less active strategies in working with students, teaching science, and having negative opinions of the students and profession.
