Opracowanie podejmuje zagadnienia innowacyjnych rozwiązań w ochronie środowiska kierowanych do MŚP. Zdaniem ekspertów, wzrost innowacyjności firm europejskich (w tym polskich) przyczyni się do ekorozwoju gospodarki państw Unii oraz wzrostu konkurencyjności na rynku globalnym. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że popyt na określone rodzaje technologii w dużym stopniu kreują zachęty finansowe, w tym programy wsparcia finansowego UE.

The paper addresses the question of innovative solutions in environmental protection directed to SMEs. According to experts, the increase in innovation of European companies (including Polish companies) will contribute to the sustainable development of the economy of the EU Member States and increased competitiveness on the global market. The research shows that the demand for certain types of technologies is, to a large extent, created by financial incentives, including EU financial assistance programmes.
