The sense of experiencing existentially critical conditions stemming from the climate crisis is a pivotal issue in education, one reason being its capacity to be treated as a moulding, amiable approach to the world and people. The state of danger, felt deep down by young generations, still has not been acknowledged by decision makers and the rest of society. The article points to the necessity of a more holistic approach to ecological issues. It proposes an application of a new model based on the idea of the pedagogy of peace.

Poczucie doświadczania stanu granicznego wynikającego z kryzysu klimatycznego jest tematem kluczowym dla problematyki edukacji traktowanej jako kształtowanie życzliwej postawy wobec świata i ludzi. Stan zagrożenia, odczuwany dogłębnie przez młode pokolenia, wciąż nie napotyka niestety na zrozumienie decydentów i całego społeczeństwa. Artykuł wskazuje na potrzebę bardziej holistycznego podejścia do zagadnień ekologicznych. Wnosi propozycję zastosowania nowego modelu bazującego na idei pedagogiki dla pokoju.
