A research purpose was to improve the physical condition of children of secondary school age with hearing defects through the use of physical rehabilitation. The complex method of physical rehabilitation is proposed and tested. It included medical physical culture, classical massage, balneotherapy, halotherapy and diet therapy. This technique is different in specificity of medical physical training elements that were used, the implementation of speed-strength exercises and instructional techniques of motor actions, the aerobic nature of the motor load and emotionality of the lessons. It proved its effectiveness; its introduction is prompted. Initial inspection of 2/3 students (67 ± 13%) of 10–12 years old with impaired hearing received a low score on the physical condition of morpho-functional indicators such as life index (the ratio of vital capacity in ml to the body weight in kg), power indicator (the ratio of brush kg of body weight in kg), double product (including heart rate and systolic blood pressure), Ruf’ye index and correspondence between body weight and stature. It was shown in the total score after evaluating each of those indexes. Thus, it can be noted that the technique of complex physical rehabilitation has a positive impact on the 10–12-year-old teens with impaired hearing. When the proposed course of comprehensive physical rehabilitation was completed, physical condition of only 3 boys remained below average, 9 of them had average physical condition, 2 of them was above average, and 1 of them was high. When we assess the obtained results by the criterion of signs, we found that the level of physical condition of 3 boys has not changed, while 12 – increased. The difference can be considered statistically significant in paired comparisons. The proposed method of complex physical rehabilitation can be recommended for use in children’s health centers and correctional institutions such as boarding schools to improve physical condition, the equivalent of which is physical (somatic) health of schoolchildren aged 10–12 with impaired hearing. In future it should be advisable to get a scientific foundation and to develop safe methods of testing the motor capacity for assess the effectiveness of rehabilitation sets with using various methods of physical rehabilitation for children with impaired hearing.

The article discusses the peculiarities of the complex of correction and rehabilitation, sports and psycho-pedagogical assistance that is provided for teenagers with sensory impairments in the centre “SKIF”. The program of the center is focused on regenerative work taking into account general pedagogical tasks and using specific pedagogical methods and techniques, the purpose of which is correctional treatment with a comprehensive rehabilitation in favor of physical and mental human development. The combination of the correction and rehabilitation, sports and psycho-pedagogical component of an integrated restoration work is a special methodological task of the centre “SKIF”, which gives the opportunity to obtain the maximum positive result. The use of specific methodological designs, created with general pedagogical and special tasks, is associated primarily with such problems of the comprehensive rehabilitation and correctional treatment that is specific for a particular child. Developing special methodology of teaching and upbringing, specialists of the center take into account general and specific laws of age development both in the norm and in case of deviation from it. In addition, the center complied with the basic methodological approaches to training and education, created special conditions to ensure the motivational component of the activity, provided a communicative orientation to learning, which is highly individualized, and therefore gives an opportunity to teach children of all productive activities. The success of the activities of the centre “SKIF” is provided through the combined efforts of a teacher-defectologist, a coach – a specialist in some sport, a teacher, and parents. The important role also plays the early application of special physical exercises and natural means of rehabilitation, which ensure strengthening the central nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory systems of a child, preventing irreversible changes in the muscles, bones and the like, as well as comprehensive development of the personality. The prospects for further research can be associated with the improvement of the organization of systematic work with children with sensory impairments in conditions of sports correction and rehabilitation center.

In the article the impact of a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for students on neurohumoral regulation of the main group compared to the students of the comparison group, who were engaged according to the standard physical education program, is investigated. The aim of the study is to determine the changes in neurohormonal regulation of the blood circulatory system of students of special medical group with the disease of vegetative-vascular dystonia on the mixed type during the study. The study was conducted at the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine during September 2011–May 2014. The study involved 40 students, who for health reasons attributed to a special medical group with vegetative-vascular dystonia on the mixed type. To study the efficiency of the development program of physical rehabilitation was formed two homogeneous groups of the students (basic and comparison group). The main group was engaged according to the developed integrated program of physical rehabilitation. A distinctive feature of the developed comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for a main group of the students was a combined selection of fitball exercises, breathing exercises by O. M. Strelnikova, treatment and acupressure, aqua aerobics as a single class, and the whole cycle of physical rehabilitation. With the students of a comparison group the classes were conducted in accordance with a generally accepted program of physical education for the students with cardiovascular disease, which included general developmental exercises, therapeutic physical training, breathing exercises, exercises for posture correction, sports and applied exercises, outdoor and sports games. The results of the study indicate that the dynamics of an orthostatic test at baseline and at the end of research was a statistically significant difference of the students of the main group, where the average indicator decreased by 15,05 beats min-1, and the students in the comparison group – by 11,50 beats a min-1. The clinical-static test of the students was decreased in the main group by 13,65 beats a min-1, and the students in the comparison group – by 11,1 beats a min-1. After analyzing the dynamics of changes in clinic and orthostatic the tests has concluded that the prevalence of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system is a feature of the vascular wall that may be genetically determined, and the predominance of the parasympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system; the features are contractile ability of myocardial that can also be reflection and genetic conditionality and constitutional features of morphology. Prospects of further scientific studies is to improve the comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for the students of a special medical group with the disease of vegetative-vascular dystonia on the mixed type.
