Schöne Polin in lyrischer Verkleidung. Zu zwei Gedichten von Arthur Silbergleit

The author analyses the motif of a beautiful Polish woman in two poems by Arthur Silbergleit. The analysis shows that the structuring of female personas goes beyond the stereotypical frames of perceiving Polish women in national categories, since they have been portrayed as beings settled between the reality and the dream, which makes it impossible to use them for the current political needs during the First World War.

Autorka analizuje motyw pięknej Polki w dwóch wierszach Arthura Silbergleita. Z analizy wynika, że konstrukcja postaci kobiecych wykracza poza stereotypowe ramy postrzegania Polek w kategoriach narodowych. Zostały one bowiem przedstawione jako istoty zadomowione w przestrzeni między rzeczywistością a snem, co uniemożliwia wykorzystanie ich do bieżących potrzeb politycznych w okresie I wojny światowej.

In dem Artikel wird dem Motiv der schönen Polin in zwei Gedichten des oberschlesischen Dichters Arthur Silbergleit nachgegangen. Die Gedichte werden einer eingehenden textnahen Analyse unterzogen, wobei der leitende Gedanke die Frage nach dem stereotypen Gehalt der von Silbergleit kreierten Frauenbilder ist. Die angestellten Überlegungen führen zu dem Fazit, dass der Dichter sich um ein jenseits bloß nationaler Kategorien liegendes Bild der Polinnen bemüht und sie in erster Linie als realitätsentrückte, in einem Zwischenreich beheimatete Wesen imaginiert.
