W zbiorach Biblioteki Głównej Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie wydzielona została specjalna kolekcja podręczników, materiałów dydaktycznych i publikacji metodycznych. Książki te zostały wycofane z obowiązujących programów nauczania. W kolekcji znaleźć można wiele ciekawych podręczników od najstarszych XIX-wiecznych, aż po najnowsze z początku XXI wieku, które zostały wycofane ostatnią reformą oświaty.

The collection of the Main Library of the Pedagogical University of Krakow has a special subcollection of textbooks, didactic materials and publications on teaching methods. These books have been withdrawn from the current teaching programs. The collection contains many interesting textbooks from the oldest, from 19th century, to the latest, from the beginning of the 21st century, which were discarded in the last reform of education.
