The article presents the participation of Poles – the officers of the Russian Imperial Navy in the First World War. Many of our compatriots during the Great War served under the flag of St. Andrew, often performing important functions as Command and staff officers (e.g. Kazimierz Kietliński, Kazimierz Włodzimierz Porębski, Jerzy Świrski).
