The article presents the analysis of the mental images of human desires and their verbalization techniques involved in Bertrand Russell's Nobel lecture delivered in 1950. Human desires are non-material mental constructs that are not clearly dened in the dictionaries, their verbalization being complicated by the issues related to rationality, psychology of thinking, objectivity, and the variability of individual behavioral reactions. The results of the research suggest that the verbalization of desires is essentially complicated by social and cultural stereotypes. It has been noted that storytelling can be applied as one of the most eective techniques to create the required mental imagery of desires in the recipient's mind. B. Russell's unique manner of dening such politically important desires as acquisitiveness, vanity, glory, love of power, excitement is carefully analyzed. The use of gurative language as well as conceptual and stylistic metaphors that facilitate the process of shaping mental images of desires have also been the focus of my attention. Special consideration has been given to the analysis of the verbalization means of the politically important desires.

The purpose of this paper is to integrate conceptual and empirical work on the prediction and explanation of entrepreneurial intentions. Specifically, it tests a model that accounts for the motivation of the entrepreneur, a salient factor commonly omitted in current theories of entrepreneurial intentions. We test the role of entrepreneurial desire (a distinct concept from desirability) as a determinant of two distinctive entrepreneurial intentions. This research corroborates recent findings that highlight the importance of identifying intentions to start a business with an orientation for growth as opposed to income substitution. Further, while the role of emotions has become an important factor in entrepreneurship, anticipated emotions have received very little attention in the prevailing literature. Using a sample from Kuwait, this paper finds that desire is a stronger predictor of growth-oriented intentions than income-substitution intentions. Also, entrepreneurial desire partially mediates the effects between attitude,

The article deals with the spirituality of young people. The aim of this study is to show and characterize the desires and searches of young people present in the teaching of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. Benedict XVI remarks that young people search for sense, aim and loan for what is great; they shape themselves and give direction for their future life. Pope Benedict XVI asks and emphasizes existential questions, which are particularly important at this stage of life. Pope Francis underlines the ability to dream and the enthusiasm that is characteristic for the young. He warns them of becoming prematurely old in their hearts. Both popes demon¬strate many times and consequently that the only person able to respond to their yearning, their search, their anxieties and aspirations is Jesus Christ. Only He can fully understand, receive and fill with peace their restless hearts. It is only in the friendship with Him that a young person can learn the true love, find joy and deep happiness, and learn how to develop what is most valuable.
