Zachorowalność na pylicę płuc w polskim górnictwie

Pylica płuc to choroba przewlekła układu oddechowego, która wywołana jest długotrwałym wdychaniem pyłów. Statystyki wskazują, że na pylicę choruje około 5% górników, przy czym nie bez znaczenia są takie czynniki jak warunki pracy czy rodzaj wydobywanych rud. Zaliczana jest do chorób zawodowych. W artykule omówiono, czym jest pylica płuc, opisano przyczyny jej powstawania oraz możliwości zapobiegania. Następnie poddano analizie lata 1998 – 2016 pod względem zapadalności na pylicę płuc w polskim górnictwie.

Pulmonary pneumoconiosis is a chronic respiratory disease that is caused by a long-term inhalation of dusts. Statistics show that about 5% of miners suffer from pneumoconiosis, which is conditioned by factors such as their working conditions or the type of ore being extracted . It is classified as an occupational disease. This paper defines lung pneumoconiosis, as well as identifying its causes and suggesting the methods of its prevention.
