Artykuł koncentruje się na zagadnieniach związanych z wdrażaniem do organizacji programu mentoringu wzajemnego (reverse mentoring). W tekście scharakteryzowano istotę tego pojęcia oraz jego znaczenie dla wspierania zarządzania różnorodnością pokoleniową we współczesnych organizacjach. Przedstawiono wyzwania towarzyszące wprowadzaniu programu mentoringu wzajemnego w firmie Microsoft. Opisano zasady, na których opiera się nowy rodzaj relacji mistrz–uczeń, oraz korzyści związane ze stosowaniem tej formy wspierania rozwoju ludzi i organizacji.

The article focuses on issues related to the implementation of reverse mentoring in the organization. The text characterizes the essence of the problem as well as its role in supporting the process of generation diversity management in contemporary organizations. Moreover, the article considers challenges connected with the implementation of a reverse mentoring program at Microsoft. Principles of a new type of mentor–mentee relationship are described as are benefits resulting from such a method of supporting the development of people and organizations.
