Przedmiotem artykułu jest problematyka kapitału społecznego, szczególnie w kontekście jego roli w środowisku pracy i rozwijaniu przedsiębiorczości. W artykule rozpatrywane jest znaczenie ważnego wskaźnika kapitału społecznego, jakim jest zaufanie w relacjach społecznych i gospodarczych oraz w stosunkach pracy. Kapitał społeczny zapewnia długookresowe korzyści w zakresie szybszego rozwoju społecznego i gospodarczego. Ponadto kapitał społeczny jest ważnym wskaźnikiem szeregu czynników kluczowych dla jakości życia i rozwoju społeczeństw: zdrowia, innowacyjności, produktywności, na poziomie indywidualnym, grupowym oraz w życiu prywatnym i zawodowym.

The article is the issue of social capital, especially in the context of its role in the labour environment and developing the entrepreneurship. The article considers the meaning of an important indicator of social capital which is trust in social relations and economic and labor relations. Social capital provides long-term benefits in terms of faster social and economic development. In addition, social capital is an important indicator of a number of key factors for quality of life and development of society: health, innovation, productivity, at the level of individual, group and private and professional life.
