Zdanie otwierające pierwszy z przywołanych tu cytatów może budzić pewne zastrzeżenia. O ja-kich przesądach na temat przesądów rasowych mówi autor, jeśli tak oczywisty wydaje się rasizm Arguedasa, że w trzecim, ostatnim wydaniu Pue-blo enfermo z 1937 r. powołuje się nawet na nie-sławne Mein Kampf Hitlera, aby potępić metysaż (Arguedas, 1937: 264)? Próby rozmywania uwie-rających współczesnego czytelnika uprzedzeń ra-sowych pisarza skazane są na porażkę. Nie sposób jednak nie zgodzić się z tym, co pisze Arze nt. wy-jątkowej roli zajmowanej przez Arguedasa w hi-storii literatury i myśli boliwijskiej w XX wieku.

The aim of the article is to look at what and how important for the contemporary history of Central Europe events were presented in popular culture, which is represented here by board games. They are subjected to analysis six historical games created primarily in Poland, although one title comes from Czechoslovakia, which in various ways tell about selected events from the communist period, including about the papal pilgrimage, strikes and martial law.
