W artykule autor omawia cechy usług i ich wpływ na działania marketingowe w sferze usług budowlanych. Nakreśla podstawowe kierunki tych działań. Zwraca uwagę na trudności we wprowadzaniu marketingu do przedsiębiorstw budowlanych.

The paper treats the problem of marketing in building services. The specific character of this type of marketing as well as two different approaches to marketing of building services are developed. The first approaches is the building service, here the product consists of services performed for the buyer thus the product is developed by the performer. The second approach deals with the performer's own products - buildings, construction that could be bought by somebody. The author notes as well the complexity of the building service and its characteristic features. The paper enumerates the difficulties connected with marketing implementation to the activities of building companies and the ways of overcoming these difficulties.

The paper concentrates on the need of use of a wide range of marketing research methods and techniques. It presents the role and function of these research and quality aspects that can be achieved thanks to them. The authors estimate the extent of marketing analysis use in selected production companies. The main reason why companies are interested in carrying out of research are distribution and promotion policies. The paper shows which fields of research are more neglected and which are in a good shape.

W artykule skoncentrowano rozważania na roli i znaczeniu metod i technik badań marketingowych dla przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych. Omówiono rolę badań marketingowych. Następnie nakreślono poszczególne etapy projektowania badań marketingowych: cykl badania, dobór reprezentantów i formy pomiaru, klasyfikacja instrumentów pomiarowych, metody analizy danych oraz prezentacja wyników badań. Na zakończenie zaprezentowano wyniki badań nad wykorzystaniem badań marketingowych w przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych.

Artykuł poświęcono wybranym aspektom wzajemnego przenikania się teorii marketingu oraz ważniejszych dziedzin teorii zarządzania. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na koncepcję zarządzania marketingowego, problematykę dopasowywania jakości produktu do wymagań klienta (Quality Function Deployment), ideę marketingu wewnętrznego oraz kwestie logistyki marketingowej.

Marketing concept integrates different operating activities of a firm, also these ones whose development has been up to now autonomous, e.g. operating management. There are fields where this tendency is particularly visible like the strategic management, quality management, logistics in a company or human resources management. In order to clear these issues the authors presented the marketing management concept, the problems of the product quality and the clients demands matching (the Quality Function Deployment method which is a means of "translation" of information coming from the clients to a technical language used in as company by designers, technologists and constructors). They also present the idea of internal marketing called as well personal marketing and selected matters connected with the marketing logistics.
