Safety is one of the basic human needs. In the occupational context, safety determines the quality of one’s work. Social service workers are one of the professions that provide social services to diversified groups of the system’s users. This involves various risks and threats to safety. System determinants include five main factors: security policy, legal system, financial and material security, work organization and technological support, and professional stability. Each of the factors is equally essential in creating the culture of social workers’ safety.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which in 1993 had 45 diplomatic missions, stated unequivocally that modern technology is so advanced that it is best to assume the existence of eavesdropping in all settings at all times. In 1992 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assigned 38,000 secret encrypted messages. Secret letters from the same ministry are transported on 160 different routes by couriers, ie specially trained officers for this purpose. In the sixties crashed the plane, which carried very secret messages, then killed bags with secret diplomatic mail, the rest survived. The situation I described above clearly shows that the best and only secure means of transport can be mailed electronically in encrypted form. The cipher used to encrypt such important state information must be unbreakable. This cipher must be based on mathematical models that exclude human (human factor) from the encryption and decryption process. Only such a cipher can give us one hundred percent effective protection of information.

The current social and economic situation of Ukraine, and especially the impoverishment of society and the growing problems of the budget, tend to pay attention to those areas of the state that can generate a threat to Europe. There is growing gap between the authorities and some nationalist circles, who have a large representation in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This situation makes it necessary to approach pessimistic about the implementation of the Agreement "Minsk II" in the field of de-escalation of the conflict in Donbas. Therefore, Ukraine can talk about a permanent threat of destabilization. It occurs in a special way in many areas of the western part of Ukraine. Separatist processes take place in particular in the Transcarpathian region. There is growing national Ruthenian movement toward autonomy, supported by the Hungarian minority. Moreover the region is experiencing sharp fighting between criminal organizations associated with Ukrainian nationalists.

The key issue of this article is inclusive education in connection with the formal and legal aspects of students’ safety when they are staying in educational institutions. In the first part, author describes the basic assumptions of the social model of education and it’s international conditions, also referring to solutions that have been recently implemented in the Polish education system. The second part indicates the problems that may be met by educational institutions and teachers trying to achieve a state of full inclusion. They relate to the school’s caring function in terms of security guarantees. The diversity of student population, especially wide range of educational needs may make it impossible for teachers to develop specific approach to individual pupil. It’s caused by formal items, largely determined by the financial situation of particular local government units.

Due to WHO – health is a physical, psychical and social welfare. The collapse of health is serious threats of safety. Only healthy man may be liable to education, will participate in organizational processes, actively and creatively incorporate processes aimed at improving safety culture and defense, which serves harmonious development of certain entities and achieving safety in its broad sense. Meanwhile fatigue, caused by unhealthy lifestyle or physico-somatic changes, reduces feeling of welfare which is equivalent of safety. Taking adequate measures to minimize subjective feeling of lack of welfare might contribute to increasing our effectiveness and creativity and, at the same time, to improve conditions to our safety.

The paper presents the essence of the education for safety. There were analyzed both theoretical issues and curriculum of the education aimed at matters related to widely understood safety in the system of public education as well as system of education in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. Analysis of the theoretical aspects as well as of the practice proves that education for safety is successful. The society is educated in the necessary scope and therefore protected from a broad range of threats. Officers of the uniformed services are also educated in the scope sufficient for a professional fulfillment of the statutory duties. Such broad scope of safety knowledge allows the society to feel relatively secure. Such a sense of security is also contributed by the fact that this education continues to evolve and that main determinants of it are history, culture, traditions, geographical location, needs and challenges – so in fact potential threats, which in turn affects the process of education, attitudes, as well as the awareness.

Security and infrastructure are two closely related terms, which is why they are so often referred to at the same time. In today’s world, infrastructure is essential to ensure broadly understood security, and a lack of security will not fulfi l its basic role. Today, identifi ed threats and challenges to national security, and thus to the security of the state, evoke the need to participate in preparing all components of the defence system of the state. The management of state defence is a very complex process, requiring a properly prepared system to function reliably in times of peace, but also in times of crisis and war. Its role is to integrate individual elements of the defence system into a uniform and efficient whole. Effective defence activities and ensuring the security of its citizens and all its assets are the core activities of the state. The defence area of the state is now comprehensive in nature and is of interest to the entire apparatus of state power. The aim of the article is to present the role of the defence infrastructure in the life of the state, its relation to national security and an attempt to identify the defence infrastructure of the state, taking into account the key state infrastructure.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy, satisfaction, safety and tolerability of sildenafil taken as prescribed prior to anticipated sexual activity in male outpatients with erectile dysfunction (ED). Materials and methods: Two hundred and three adult male with ED participated in a 2-week, no treatment, run-in period followed by a 6-week open treatment period. In the present trial, they received 50 mg of Viagra. The primary efficacy variable was the change from baseline in response to item 3 and 4 of the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF). The secondary efficacy variables were as follows: response to the other questions of the IIEF, the IIEF domain scores, response to the Global Efficacy Assessment Question (GAQ), the Event Logs of Erectile Function and Erectile Dysfunction Inventory of Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire. Results: A total of 203 subjects were screened and 175 subjects received the study drug. A total of 168 subjects completed the study. The percent of improved erection based on the (GAQ) was 84.5%. The mean rate of successful intercourse was 0.6. Almost thirty-seven percent of patients were satisfied with the effect of treatment in their erections at week 2. The treatment satisfaction increased to 83.3 % at the end of the study, after 62.6 % of patients increased dose to 100 mg of Viagra. A total of 7 (4%) subject discontinued the study prior to the final visit. The reasons of discontinuation were: adverse events - 1.1%, lost to follow-up - 1.1%, subject no longer willing to participate - 3. Of the 175 subjects who received Viagra, 34 subjects experienced at least one adverse event. Conclusions: The results of the analyses of the responses to the primary variable were highly statistically significantly in favour of sildenafil, as well as the results of the analyses of all the secondary efficacy variables. These findings support effectiveness of sildenafil. The adverse event profile of sildenafil in this study was consistent with the labeled adverse events for this product.

This article presents reflection made in the field of Roman legal thought in selected Polish legal regulations with potential impact on the functioning of the individual. The universal form of the principle – regardless of the legal system – implies a potential threat to the functioning of the individual in the form of uncertainty. The purpose of this publication is to indicate the need to update legal regulations regarding the indicated matter – in particular – in the form of an obligatory examination for the courts of the statute of limitations in a situation where a natural person is a party to the proceedings. Accurate provisions of the Code of Administrative Procedure, Code of Civil Procedure and selected court sentences were presented. In the research process, was made extensive use of qualitative research methods, including in the form of analyses (e.g.: legal and institutional analysis, comparative analysis, system analysis and methods: analysis and logical construction), generalization and implication. In turn, among quantitative research methods, intensively was used statistical analysis and a diagnostic sounding survey. In addition to the literature analysis – important support of the research process was the examination of documents (including provisions of national law) and available sources of knowledge about the problems studied. The source material included both open access and published studies in specialist journals. At this stage of the research, have been analysed the applicable legal regulations and selected sentences of Polish Courts. The mentioned above, empirical methods included the following: a diagnostic sounding survey – conducted in the form of surveys using the CAWI technique. The empirical stage ofthe research also consisted in the assessment of the legal status. The cognitive and utilitarian premises of the problems are the implementation of the adopted hypothesis: Ignorantia iuris nocet Principle in connection with numerous amendments to regulations may have negative consequences for the functioning of the individual.

Polish soldiers have been participating in peacekeeping and stabilization missions around the world for several decades under the auspices of the UN, OSCE, NATO and the EU. They were first sent to Korea in 1953 to oversee a ceasefire between the North and South Koreas. Since then, nearly 70,000 Polish troops have taken part in 58 peace and humanitarian multinational missions on different continents (SKMP ONZ, 2019), which required from them great skills to cooperate with soldiers from other countries, to overcome cultural barriers,  as well as adaptation to difficult, often completely different than in Europe, climatic conditions,  and to create a system of safeguards and procedures against dangerous tropical diseases. Due to these reasons, biological safety, i.e.,  medical, sanitary-hygienic, and anti-epidemic security of the contingent, plays a significant role in every mission because it allows the soldiers and civilian personnel stay healthy in an unfavorable and different climate and environmental conditions.

Juvenile delinquency is currently one of the most dangerous social phenomena. Despite the involvement of a large number of researchers trying to explore the causes of delinquency, despite the development of numerous theories focused on this problem, and finally, despite the permanent verification of legal provisions regarding this phenomenon, juvenile delinquency still occurs, and what is worse, increases in rates and changes in character. Increasingly more brutal crimes are committed by increasingly younger people. Investigating juvenile delinquency means monitoring changes that occur in this area, as well as learning about existing threats and forecasting activities that should translate into the elimination of deviant behaviors.
