The current article contains two basic themes. The first one constitutes a review of psychological and economic definitions and concepts of determinants of enterprise. The second theme is an analysis of the essence of an entrepreneur’s success. The author presents views on the gratifying role of money and economic profit, and also considers its relations withlife-satisfaction and happiness. The author points at the possibility of negative relationships between economic success and life-satisfaction, and the necessity of studying work hygiene and the quality of life of entrepreneurs.
