Problem niespójności rozwojowych w pierwszej kolejności dotyka terenów słabo rozwiniętych, zwłaszcza tych położonych w sąsiedztwie obszarów o dużo silniejszej gospodarce. W warunkach ograniczonego potencjału rozwojowego, przezwyciężenie problemów wymaga współpracy wszystkich podmiotów funkcjonujących na tych terenach, a szczególnie partnerstwa pomiędzy samorządem lokalnym a organizacjami pozarządowymi. Przeprowadzone badania ukazały jednak, że zakres współpracy w tym obszarze jest wyraźnie zawężony w stosunku do istniejących możliwości. Podejmowane inicjatywy nie są w stanie w sposób zadowalający wpłynąć na zmniejszenie niespójności. Samorządy cechuje ostrożność w podejmowaniu głębszej współpracy, wspieraniu inicjatyw innowacyjnych i progospodarczych.

In the first instance, the problem of developmental incoherences affects poorly developed areas, especially situated in the neighbourhood of areas with more powerful economy. Under conditions of limited growing potential, overcoming problems requires the cooperation of all subjects acting in those areas, especially the partnership of local government and nongovernmental organizations. Researches shows that the range of cooperation in those areas is clearly narrow to the existing possibilities. The initiative taken are not able to influence reducing the level of incoherence in the satisfying way. The characteristic of local government is caution in taking deeper cooperation, supporting innovative and pro-economic initiative

Spójność terytorialna jest kategorią rozwoju przestrzeni w polityce europejskiej i krajowej. Celem artykułu jest ocena spójności terytorialnej podregionów Polski, której dokonano za pomocą metod wielowymiarowej analizy porównawczej. Umożliwiło to ocenę zróżnicowania i współbieżności poziomu rozwoju gospodarczego oraz rozwoju społecznego dla podregionów Polski. Przeanalizowano dane GUS z lat 2014-2015.

Territorial cohesion is a category of space development in European and national policies. The purpose of the paper is to assess the territorial cohesion of Poland's subregions. Assessment of cohesion is conducted using methods of multidimensional comparative analysis. This enables the author to evaluate the diversity and interdependence of the levels of economic and social development of the subregions of Poland. Central Statistical Office (GUS) data from 2014-2015 have been analysed.
