The reflection on Jewish-Christian relations is one of the most significant topics of Sholem Asch’s work. The brilliant author of Yiddish literature, twice nominated for the Noble Prize was born in Kutno in 1880. In his autobiographical works, he mentioned his childhood in a small Jewish-Christian community. Asch noticed that this period influenced his literature, worldview, and his social commitment. For more than 50 years, until he died in 1957, he was a propagator of Judeo-Christian reconciliation, to which he exhorted through his texts.

Refleksja nad stosunkami żydowsko-chrześcijańskimi jest jednym z najważniejszych tematów twórczości Szaloma Asza. Genialny autor literatury jidysz, dwukrotnie nominowany do Nagrody Nobla, urodził się w Kutnie w 1880 roku. W swoich pracach autobiograficznych wspominał o swoim dzieciństwie w małej społeczności żydowsko-chrześcijańskiej. Asz zauważył, że okres ten wpłynął na jego literaturę, światopogląd i zaangażowanie społeczne. Przez ponad 50 lat, aż do śmierci w 1957 r., był propagatorem pojednania judeochrześcijańskiego, do czego nawoływał w swoich tekstach.
