Niniejsze opracowanie poświęcone jest istniejącym mechanizmom współ-pracy Jednostek Samorządu Terytorialnego (JST) subregionu radomskiego z klastrami i biznesem. Artykuł powstał na podstawie własnych badań prezentowanych w raporcie końcowym pt. „Badanie istniejących mechanizmów współpracy JST subregionu radomskiego z klastrami i biznesem w ramach projektu Orkiestra realizowanego w ramach priorytetu VIII Regionalne kadry gospodarki, Działanie 8.1 Rozwój pracowników i przedsiębiorstw w regionie, Poddziałanie 8.1.2 wsparcie procesów adaptacyjnych i modernizacyjnych w regionie” oraz aktualnych źródeł i informacji dotyczących subregionu radomskiego. W toku badania wykorzystano bazy Danych Regionalnych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego w tym m.in. Statystyczne Vademecum Samorządowca. Cennym źródłem wiedzy dla poszczególnych powiatów były informacje znajdujące się na ich oficjalnych serwisach internetowych oraz w dokumentach strategicznych poszczególnych gmin i powiatów. Na potrzeby niniejszego opracowania skonstruowano narzędzie badawcze w postaci kwestionariusza ankietowego.

This study is devoted to the existing mechanisms of cooperation of local self-governments of the Radom subregion with clusters and business. The article is an outcome of the author’s own research presented in the final report “Research of the existing mechanisms of cooperation of local self-governments of the Radom subregion with clusters and business within the framework of the project named Orchestra implemented within the priority VIII, Regional Stafffor Economy, Measure 8.1, Development of Employees and Enterprises in the Region, Sub-measure 8.1.2, Support for adaptive and modernisation processes in the region” as well as the present sources and information on the Radom subregion. In the course of the research, there were used bases of the regional data of the Central Statistical Offi ce, including,inter alia, Statystyczne Vademecum Samorządowca[Statistical Vademecum of Regional Civil Servant]. A valuable source of knowledge for individual districts was information displayed on their offi cial Internet services as well as in strategic documents of particular municipalities and districts. For the purposes of this study, the author constructed a research tool in the form of survey questionnaire.
