Kapitał ludzki to kluczowy składnik zasobów firmy. Aby w pełni wykorzystać jego potencjał, organizacje stale poszukują, selekcjonują i wreszcie zatrudniają najzdolniejszych ludzi. Nie jest bowiem sekretem, iż talenty w firmie zwiększają jej elastyczność. Jednak jak wszyscy pracownicy również osoby utalentowane czasem odchodzą motywowane różnymi czynnikami. Priorytetem każdego dobrego menedżera powinno być umiejętne zarządzanie talentami, tak aby ludzie najcenniejsi nie odchodzili z pracy. W artykule przedstawione zostało pojęcie talentu, przeanalizowane zostały badania odzwierciedlające skalę problemu fluktuacji w Polsce oraz czynniki skłaniające ludzi do odejścia z pracy. W ostatniej części tekstu zaproponowano osiem wskazówek mogących pomóc menedżerom zatrzymać kluczowych pracowników w organizacji.

Human capital is a kind of vital element for each company. In order to take advantage of their potential, organizations are constantly searching, selecting and finally employ the most talented people. It is obvious that talents in the company increase its productivity. However, like all workers, talented people leave jobs as well, motivated by different factors. The priority of any good manager should be wise talent management, so the most valued performers do not leave. Following article describes talent’s issue, analyzed studies that reflect the scale of the fluctuation’s problem in Poland, and check number of reasons why people leave their jobs. The last part contains of eight practices that can help managers in retaining most highly valued talents.
