Dynamiczny rozwój mediów elektronicznych, a zwłaszcza multimediów interaktywnych, ich nieustannie wzrastający wpływ na odbiorców powoduje, że zachodzi konieczność przygotowania społeczeństwa do racjonalnego i efektywnego korzystania z tych urządzeń we wszystkich ich aspektach – informacyjnym, edukacyjnym, narzędziowym, rozrywkowym. Jest to ogromne wyzwanie dla nauk pedagogicznych, a zwłaszcza pedagogiki i edukacji medialnej. Współcześnie rzeczywistość generowana przez media sprawia, że młode pokolenie chętnie sięga do tych środków i traktuje je jako źródło pozyskiwania informacji i wiadomości. Wskazane przeze mnie w tekście techniczne środki kształcenia, media edukacyjne, proces remediacji oraz pedagogika medialna to obszary tematyczne, które także były bliskie dr. Antoniemu Zającowi, którego dziś już nie ma z nami, ale wciąż Go wspominamy! Po drugiej stronie…, lecz na zawsze w pamięci!

Dynamic development of electronic media, especially interactive multimedia, their continuously increasing influence on their audience causes the necessity to prepare the society for rational and effective use of these means in all aspects – informative, educational, functional and entertaining. It is a great challenge for all pedagogy sciences, especially pedagogics and media education. At present, media generated reality makes young generation reach for these means eagerly and treat them as a source of i formation and news. The technical means of education discussed in the educational media, remediation process and media pedagogy are the areas that were particularly important to the deceased Antoni Zając, Ph.D. whom we remember fondly. He is on the other side... yet forever in our hearts!
