W opracowaniu wskazano na główne problemy związane z formowaniem się społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Przedstawiono podstawowe technologie teleinformatyczne wykorzystywane przez współczesne społeczeństwo. Zwrócono uwagę na stopień wykorzystania tych technologii przez różne grupy społeczne, a zwłaszcza przez młodzież. Podjęto próbę analizy zjawiska wykluczenia części społeczeństwa, które nie może lub nie potrafi korzystać z nowoczesnych środków elektronicznej komunikacji. Wskazano na rolę systemu oświaty w kształtowaniu się postaw, zwłaszcza wśród młodzieży, sprzyjających efektywnemu wykorzystywaniu współczesnych technologii teleinformatycznych tak w kształceniu się, jak i w życiu społecznym.

The main problems related to the formation of informative society were presented in the paper. The basic ICT used by modern society were described. The degree of utilization of these technologies by different groups of society and especially by young people were analyzed. An attempt was made to the analysis of exclusion of the public who cannot or do not know how to use modern means of electronic communication. The role of the education system in shaping attitudes, especially among young people, to foster the effective use of modern ICTs in education and in social life indicated in the paper.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wpływu technologii informacyjnych na zachowania przestrzenne głównych aktorów tworzących układ regionalny (przedsiębiorstw, gospodarstw domowych, władz publicznych). Artykuł wykorzystuje wyniki regionalnego studium przypadku przeprowadzonego w ramach projektu ESPON 1.2.3. Do przeprowadzonych w 2006 r. badań wybrano województwo podlaskie stanowiące przykład słabo rozwiniętego regionu peryferyjnego. W szczególności przedmiotem analizy był zakres oraz efekty wykorzystania nowych technologii w sektorze przedsiębiorstw oraz w sektorze władz publicznych.

The aim of the paper is to present the impact of ICT on the spatial behaviour of the main actors (households, enterprises, public administration) that constitute the regional economic system. The results are based on the regional case study developed within the ESPON 1.2.3 project. The research has been conducted in 2006 in the Podlaskie Voivodship – an example of peripheral Polish region. In particular the analysis covers the range and effects of new technologies implementation both in private and public sectors.

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę wzrostu znaczenia ryzyka ujawnienia danych osobowych przez osoby niepowołane do dostępu do określonych informacji poufnych. Przytoczono podstawowe akty prawne regulujące bezpieczeństwo transferu danych w cyberprzestrzeni i kwestie ochrony prywatności w dobie ery cyfrowej. Całość uzupełnia prezentacja skali zagrożeń ataków hakerskich i terrorystycznych na sieci teleinformatyczne oraz problematyka zagrożenia utraty danych osobowych w portalach społecznościowych.

The article presents the problem of the increased risk of revealing personal data by persons unauthorised to have access to certain confidential information. It refers to the fundamental legal documents regulating the security of data transmission in the cyber space and the issues of the protection of privacy in the cyber era. This has been complemented with the presentation of the scale of a threat of hacker and terrorist attacks on ICT networks and the problems of the risk of personal data loss in social media.
