Wychowanie dla pokoju należy do ważnych zadań edukacji szkolnej dzieci i młodzieży. Podstawą tego wychowania jest kształtowanie systemu wartości w sferze humanizmu, tolerancji i współdziałania międzyludzkiego. Czynnikiem decydującym o realizacji zadań z zakresu wychowania dla pokoju jest kadra nauczycielska. Zadania szkolne eksponujące wartości humanistyczne i edukacyjne w obszarze potrzeby utrwalania pokoju winny przede wszystkim dotyczyć dzieci i rodziny. Szkoła w większym stopniu niż dotąd musi w sposób celowy podejmować problematykę wychowania dla pokoju.

Education for peace is one of the most important aims of children and youth education. The basis of this education is creating values system in humanism, tolerance and cooperation. The factor that determines realisation of those aims is a teacher. School with more determination than before, should take up the challenge of education for peace.
