W artykule wyjaśniono istotę rolnictwa ekologicznego. Następnie szczegółowo omówiono zasady, na których opiera się prowadzenie ekogospodarstwa. Jest to zasada zdrowotności, zasada ekologii, zasada sprawiedliwości i zasada troskliwości. W dalszej części dokonano oceny stopnia rozwoju rolnictwa ekologicznego w Polsce. Na końcu artykułu postawiona została prognoza na 2020 rok. Jakość tej prognozy zweryfikowano przy pomocy odpowiednich narzędzi ekonometrycznych.

In the article the essence of organic farming was explained. Then the rules of running eco-farm were in detail discussed. These are the health principle, the ecology principle, the justice principle and the solicitude principle. In the following part of the article the level of development of organic farming in Poland was assessed and at the end the prediction for 2020 was made. The quality of the prediction was verified using appropriate econometric tools.
