In the museum collections of the Archive of the Pila Salesian Province, the heritage of Rev. Stanisław Kosiński SDB is stored. Rev. Kosiński dedicated his studies to the life and activity of Cardinal August Hlond SDB, the Primate of Poland. He managed to collect his monumental ‘Acta Hlondiana’ containing 105 volumes in typescript, encompassing the material found in different archives and studies. Rev. Kosiński gathered many original documents, momentos and cimelia connected to the Primate. The article presents these valuable collections.

Pedagogy of Christian service to God, neighbor and the homeland of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński. The subject of the analysis are the views contained in the diaries of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński on the subject of Christian service to God, neighbor and homeland from the point of view of his life and activity, and their timeless topicality. By paying attention to the socialization and socio-political sources and the depth of wisdom of the Primate of the Millennium, it is possible to understand the entanglement of his life in the complexity of socio-political conflicts in the history of post-war Poland. It is also a chance to restore the role of Christian pedagogy and social teaching of the Catholic Church in the scientific discourse in the light of the world-outlook differences among citizens constantly exposed by the changing forces of political power and the need to build the unity of the state for the common good. It is necessary to reflect on the effects of political disputes, which are also involved in pedagogy and educational practice of various social environments.

Przedmiotem analizy są zawarte w dziennikach kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego poglądy na temat chrześcijańskiej służby Bogu, bliźnim i ojczyźnie z punktu widzenia czasu jego życia i działalności oraz ich ponadczasowej aktualności. Zwrócenie uwagi na socjalizacyjne oraz społeczno-polityczne źródła i głębię mądrości Prymasa Tysiąclecia pozwala na zrozumienie uwikłania jego życia w złożoność konfliktów społeczno-politycznych w dziejach powojennej Polski. Jest to zarazem szansa na przywrócenie w dyskursie naukowym roli chrześcijańskiej pedagogiki i nauczania społecznego Kościoła katolickiego w świetle ustawicznie eksponowanych przez zmieniające się siły politycznej władzy różnice światopoglądowe obywateli oraz potrzeby budowania jedności państwa dla dobra wspólnego. Konieczna jest refleksja na temat skutków sporów politycznych, w które uwikłana jest także pedagogika i praktyka wychowawcza różnych środowisk społecznych.
