The article deals with the problem of an ageing society. I present the Toruń University of the Th ird Age (actually the poetry section) as one of the ways of activating seniors. I describe the idea of the universities of the third age and the history of the Toruń University of the Th ird Age. Th en I present the poetry section TUTW and it’s poems.

W artykule poruszam problem starzejącego się społeczeństwa. Przedstawiam Toruński Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku (dokładnie jego sekcję poetycką) jako jeden ze sposobów aktywizacji seniorów. Opisuję ideę uniwersytetów trzeciego wieku oraz historię Toruńskiego Uniwersytetu Trzeciego Wieku. Następnie przechodzę do przedstawienia sekcji poetyckiej TUTW i jej twórczości.
