W artykule dokonano charakterystyki postaw studentów wobec ustroju ekonomicznego i kwestii socjalnych (postawy diagnozowane były na podstawie zestawu poglądów odzwierciedlających stanowisko liberalne bądź nonliberalne). Badania przeprowadzono w latach: 2003 (325 osób), 2008 (379 osób) i 2013 (368 osób). Starano się ustalić czy postawy zmieniają się zgodnie z postulowanym – z punktu widzenia przeobrażeń ustrojowych – kierunkiem, tj. „ku liberalizmowi”. W kontekście uzyskanych wyników należy stwierdzić, że akceptacja liberalnych rozwiązań w sferze gospodarczej była niska, a co najwyżej – umiarkowana. W poglądach zaobserwowano różnice w trzech badaniach: bardziej liberalne postawy prezentowali studenci w 2008 roku, wyraźniej opowiadali się za interwencjonizmem państwowym w sferze gospodarczej i socjalnej studenci w 2003 roku.

The present contribution deals with the description of attitudes towards economic system and social issues (attitudes were diagnosed on the basis of the set of views, reflecting liberal or nonliberal notion). The research was conducted three times: in 2003 (325 respondents), and in 2008 (379 respondents) and 2013 (368 respondents). An attempt was made to establish if one could observe changes in the attitudes in the desired direction – from the point of view of political transformation, i.e. “to liberalism”. The results suggest that acceptance of liberal solutions in the economic sphere was low, or at most moderate. However, some differences were discovered: students in 2008 presented more liberal attitudes, whereas students in 2003 are in favour of the interventionism of the state into the economic and social sphere.
