Idea zamkniętych wszechświatów, stosowana we współczesnej kosmologii, poznawczo jest dla wielu mało uchwytna. Celem artykułu jest uczynienie tej idei bardziej zrozumiałą, za pomocą, w miarę możności, prostych intuicji i rozumowań. W ten sposób konstruowanie modeli zamkniętych wszechświatów stanie się, być może, dla czytelnika bardziej przejrzyste. Najpierw ukazane zostały geometryczne przestrzenie zamknięte, a następnie ich zastosowanie w kosmologii.

Within modern cosmology, the concept of closed universes is incomprehensible to many people. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to try and make this idea more understandable, using simple intuitions and reasoning. Perhaps, in such a way, the construction of closed models of the universe will become more intellectually transparent to the reader. To begin with, closed geometrical spaces will be introduced and subsequently, their applications within modern cosmology.
