The audit, conducted all around the country, coordinated by the Regional Branch of the Supreme Audit Office in Kraków, was aimed to examine whether the control activities of construction inspectorates (at the regional and local level) were appro-priate and whether they effectively conducted execution proceedings. The auditors examined, among other, whether the organisation and resources of the inspectorates allowed for performance of tasks stipulated in the Construction Law, as well as whe-ther control proceedings were started immediately after information about irregula-rities was delivered.
