Stosunek polskich studentów do koncepcji bezwarunkowego dochodu podstawowego

In December 2020, the Polish Economic Institute published the report Unconditional basic income - a new idea for a welfare state? analyzing the attitude of Poles to the idea of unconditional basic income (UBI). However, in this research, PEI did not distinguish a specific group, which are university students. This publication is the first publication in Poland presenting the results of research conducted on a group of students on their attitude towards UBI. 99 Polish students took part in the survey. Its results showed that 57% of respondents are against the idea of an unconditional basic income. The study also shows that the surveyed students do not need this financial benefit for everyday functioning. The analyzed study complements the results presented in the report of the Polish Economic Institute.

W grudniu 2020 roku Polski Instytut Ekonomiczny opublikował raport Bezwarunkowy dochód podstawowy - nowy pomysł na państwo opiekuńcze? analizujący stosunek Polaków do idei bezwarunkowego dochodu podstawowego (BDP). W swoim badaniu PIE nie wyodrębnił jednak specyficznej grupy, jaką są studenci wyższych uczelni. Niniejszy artykuł jest pierwszym w Polsce przedstawiającym wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na grupie studentów, dotyczących ich stosunku do BDP. W badaniu ankietowym wzięło udział 99 studentów polskich uczelni. Jego wyniki pokazały, że 57% ankietowanych jest przeciwne idei bezwarunkowego dochodu podstawowego. Z badania wynika również, że ankietowanym studentom to świadczenie finansowe nie jest potrzebne do codziennego funkcjonowania. Analizowane badanie uzupełnia wyniki przedstawione w raporcie Polskiego Instytutu Ekonomicznego.
