This paper discusses the theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the use or non-use of expert-based information in policy-making. Special attention is paid to the Narrative Policy Framework introduced by Jones & McBeth in 2010. This theory of the policy process adopts a quantitative, structuralist and positivist approach to the study of policy narratives. The Narrative Policy Framework is useful for the analysis of the use of expert-based information to resolve so-called wicked problems, which are characterized by intense value-based conflict between policy coalitions. The methodological approach of the Narrative Policy Framework is illustrated using the policy issue of mandatory vaccination.

Design thinking to w terminologii wzornictwa przemysłowego proces prowadzący do powstania produktu. Richard Buchanan proponuje, by zaadaptować go również na potrzeby dziedzin innych niż sztuka użytkowa. W artykule zostaje rozpatrzona zasadność owego postulatu w stosunku do nauk społecznych. Autorka analizuje kilka płaszczyzn praktyki badawczej, dla których model myślenia projektowego mógłby stanowić wartościowy punkt odniesienia. Propozycje ich modyfikacji na podstawie design thinking traktuje jako pewne typy idealne i zaproszenie do dalszych dyskusji.

Design thinking refers to the process of creating a new product. Richard Buchanan proposes to adapt this creative method in the disciplinesother than industrial design as well. This article analyzes the possibility of introducing design thinking in social sciences. The author considers various fields of the research practice and modifies them treating design thinking as a key foundation, thus creating some pure types as a basis for further discussion.

Celem artykułu jest eksploracja i identyfikacja kategorii doświadczeń uczestników procesu dydaktycznego na podstawie innowacyjnego modelu dydaktycznego. Artykuł został przygotowany na podstawie badania jakościowego uczestników procesów dydaktycznych, łączących wykłady i ćwiczenia z pracami studentów nad wyzwaniami projektowymi sformułowanymi przez przedsiębiorstwa współpracujące w projekcie pt. Innowacje rynkowe – projektowanie i wdrażanie. W badaniu wykorzystano technikę krytycznych przypadków (critical incident technique - CIT).

The aim of the article is to explore and identify the categories of experiences of the students that participate in the innovative didactic process. The authors prepared the article on the basis of a qualitative study. The informants were the participants in the innovative didactic processes in which lectures, exercises and students’ work on project challenges formulated by enterprises cooperating in the project “Market innovations - design and implementation” were combined. The study used the critical incident technique (CIT).

Цель статьи – изучить и выявить категории опыта участников дидактиче- ского процесса на основе инновационной дидактической модели. Статья под- готовлена на основе качественного обследования участников дидактических процессов, объединяющих лекции и упражнения с работами студентов по проектным вызовам, сформулированным предприятиями, сотрудничающими в проекте «Рыночные инновации – проектирование и внедрение». В обсле- довании использовали технику критических событий (англ. critical incident technique, CIT).

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie stanu wiedzy i luki w badaniach zależności między treściami procesów dydaktycznych i rozwiązywaniem praktycznych problemów menadżerskich. Artykuł został przygotowany na podstawie przeglądu literatury. Na podstawie problemu zidentyfikowanego w niniejszym artykule, autorzy realizują serię badań procesów dydaktycznych łączących wykłady i ćwiczenia z pracami studentów nad wyzwaniami projektowymi sformułowanymi przez przedsiębiorstwa z Wrocławskiego Parku Technologicznego, współpracujące w projekcie pt. Innowacje rynkowe – projektowanie i wdrażanie”. Wyniki tych badań zostaną przedstawione w kolejnych artykułach.

The goal of the article is to present the current state of knowledge and to identify the gap in knowledge of didactic processes in teaching management at the higher education level, when taking into account the category of complicated (wicked) problems. The article was prepared on the basis of literature review. Based on the problem identified in this article, its authors carry out the research on didactic processes that combine lectures and exercises with students’ work on project challenges formulated by enterprises from the Wroclaw Technology Park, cooperating in the project “Market innovations - design and implementation”. The results of particular investigations will be presented in subsequent articles.

Статья подготовлена на основе обзора литературы. На основе проблемы, выявленной в статье, ее авторы осуществ- ляют серию исследований дидактических процессов, объединяющих лекции и упражнения с работами студентов по проектным задачам, сформулирован- ным предприятиями из Вроцлавского технологического парка, сотруднича- ющими по проекту «Рыночные инновации – проектирование и внедрение». Результаты исследований будут представлены в очередных статьях.
