The aim of the article is to present a strategy for describing ecological issues and to identify elements of ecocriticism in selected works of contemporary Ukrainian literature. A concise analysis covers mainly prose works, one play and Ukrainian themes in the work of Olga Tokarczuk. The issues of interdependence between people and the world around them, the literary image of life and death in a known space, were brought to the fore. The problem of occupation of the native land and the hostility of the previously known world were also touched upon. The article contains a short analysis of possible scenarios of nature’s rebirth in the context of creating new relationships with people.

The paper shows several contemporary trends in Polish contemporary media communication. Syntactic, lexical, and spelling phenomena (mostly not reflected in the Polish language standard) are discussed. Some of them are certainly temporary, some will most likely remain in contemporary Polish longer. The linguistic data was gathered over a period of months from online sources such as Twitter, YouTube, blogs, articles.

W artykule zwrócono uwagę na kilka tendencji obserwowanych ostatnio w polskiej, współczesnej komunikacji medialnej. Przedmiot rozważań dotyczy zjawisk składniowych, leksykalnych i ortograficznych, które dotychczas najczęściej nie miały odzwierciedlenia w polskiej normie językowej. Część z nich z pewnością ma charakter przejściowy, część najprawdopodobniej pozostanie we współczesnym języku polskim na dłuższej. Prezentowany w artykule materiał został wyekscerpowany z dostępnych w ostatnich miesiącach w sieci wpisów internetowych, blogów, twittów, artykułów, i filmów opublikowanych na You Tube.
