This article discusses the role of the family in the process of assistance related to the direction of education and the profession young people with physical disabilities choice. For this group, as future employees – well­‑educated young people with disabilities – entering into the labor market sometimes is long and often fails. There is the significant role of the family as a supportive environment. The particular attention was paid to the discussion of the factors affecting the educational and professional choices, among others: parents’ educational level, the choice of field of study and occupations of family members, the situation of social­‑household family, parents satisfaction with career choices investigated, and others. In addition, the review of the possibilities for career development of people with disabilities on the basis of system support has been made during those considerations.

Article presents relationships between the occupational interests of students with intellectual disabilities and their choice of educationalprofile. The second aim of the article is to present internal and external factors that influence the choice of the educational profile. Theresearch, in which 63 participants took part, was made using the author’s questionnaire and the tool about student’s occupational interests forthe student with reduced intellectual abilities. This tool was created by MałgorzataPołajdowicz, EwaRadtke-Pawłowska, UrszulaSajewicz-Radtke,published by the Psychological and Pedagogical Testing Laboratory in Gdańsk. The results indicate that the choice of the educational profileby persons with intellectual disability is not consistent with their occupational interests. The family environment, consultations with teachers, educational offer at school and health contraindications are important in deciding on the choice of the educational profile.

Artykuł przedstawia związki między zainteresowaniami zawodowymi uczniów z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w stopniu lekkim a wyborem przez nich profilu kształcenia. Drugim celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie czynników wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych, które oddziałują na wybór profilu kształcenia przez badane osoby. Badania, w których udział wzięło 63 uczestników, zrealizowano z wykorzystaniem „Profilu zainteresowań zawodowych dla uczniów o obniżonych możliwościach intelektualnych” autorstwa Małgorzaty Połajdowicz, Ewy Radtke-Pawłowskiej, Urszuli Sajewicz-Radtke, wydanego przez Pracownię Testów Psychologicznych i Pedagogicznych w Gdańsku oraz autorskiego wywiadu kompletnie kierowanego. Wyniki wskazują, że wybór profilu kształcenia przez badane osoby z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną uczące się w szkole branżowej pierwszego stopnia nie jest zgodny z ich zainteresowaniami zawodowymi. W podejmowaniu decyzji o wyborze profilu kształcenia przez badanych znaczenie mają: środowisko rodzinne, konsultacje z nauczycielami, oferta kształcenia w szkole oraz przeciwskazania zdrowotne.

The main goal of the paper is to find out whether there is a relationship between an employee's personality type and the career path s/he has chosen to follow. MBTI® was used as a research method. The tool was selected because it is widely used in business, in particular in hiring processes, but also due to the ease with which the results it produces can be interpreted. The paper contains results of personality test carried out for the employees of Financial Departments and Sales Departments of a selected media company together with conclusions and recommendations for team managers and business practitioners.

Głównym celem artykułu jest znalezienie odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy istnieje zależność między typem osobowości pracownika a wyborem przez niego ścieżki kariery zawodowej. Metoda badań, jaka została zastosowana, to narzędzie MBTI®. Wybór narzędzia został podyktowany jego popularnością zastosowania w biznesie, szczególnie w procesach rekrutacyjnych, a także ze względu na łatwość interpretacji wyników. Artykuł zawiera wyniki badań osobowości pracowników działów finansowych i działów sprzedaży wybranej firmy mediowej oraz zestaw wniosków i rekomendacji dla osób zarządzających zespołami i praktyków biznesu.

Problematyka religii, religijności i duchowości została ukazana w naukowej, interdyscyplinarnej perspektywie jako podstawowy wymiar zasobów jednostki i kapitał społeczny współczesnego społeczeństwa. Zarówno wyzwania indywidualne człowieka związane z kształtowaniem jego własnej biografii, dążeniem do samorealizacji i samostanowienia oraz społeczne pola napięć w ciągle zmieniających się kontekstach społeczno-kulturowych, stanowią jeden z podstawowych wymiarów uzasadnionego naukowo przedmiotu refleksji i działania pedagogiki społecznej oraz pracy socjalnej w ramach tzw. „pomocy duchowej”. Rozumienie tego podejścia teoretycznego i praktycznego, jego zasadność i profesjonalność znajduje swoje uzasadnienie zarówno w antropologii filozoficznej, jak i w naukach społecznych oraz medycznych. Kategoria potrzeb jednostki, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem potrzeb duchowo-religijnych w promocji zdrowia, w wyborze i realizacji kariery zawodowej, jak i tzw. duchowości miejsca pracy oraz paradygmat kapitału społeczno-moralnego, są tu wyznacznikami teoriotwórczego i profesjonalnego oddziaływania w ramach pedagogiki społecznej i pracy socjalnej.

The issue of religion, religiosity and spirituality was presented in scientific, interdisciplinary perspective as a fundamental dimension of individuals’ resources and social capital of modern society. The human challenge of creating one’s own biography, striving for self-fulfilment and self-determination, as well as the social fields of tension in an ever changing socio-cultural context, constitute the fundamental elements of the scientifically justified object of reflection and the influence of social pedagogy and social work within the scope of ‘spiritual help’. The understanding of this type of theoretical and practical approach, its legitimacy and professionalism is enrooted both in philosophical anthropology as well as in social sciences and medicine. The category of individuals’ needs, especially spiritual-religious needs in health promotion, in choosing and pursuing professional career and in so called workplace spirituality and paradigm of socio-moral capital are determinants for theory-creating and professional interactions in the context of social pedagogy and social work.
