Celem artykuły jest również zwrócenie uwagi na potencjał technologii asystujących i ich znaczenie, ponieważ coraz częściej mogą być kluczem do samodzielności, niezależności i pełnego uczestnictwa w życiu społecznym.

This paper attempt to bring closer the concept of corporate responsibility for social environment in the context of employment of disabled people and its great impact on their professional activation. Deep analysis of literature in this area allows to define the concept of corporate social responsibility and to introduce the definitions and the image of the disabled person that are present in Polish society. Presenting business in terms of responsibility for the social environment in which it operates, intend to provide substantive arguments to state that only socially responsible organizations can give people the opportunity to become fully-fledged labor marketers.

Prezentowana praca stanowi próbę przedstawienia koncepcji społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu w kontekście zatrudniania osób niepełnosprawnych i wykazania, jak wielki wpływ na życie tych ludzi ma aktywizacja zawodowa. Dokonana analiza literatury pozwala zdefiniować pojęcie społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu oraz przedstawić definicje, a także wizerunek osoby niepełnosprawnej obecny w polskim społeczeństwie. Zaprezentowanie biznesu w kontekście odpowiedzialności za otoczenie, w którym funkcjonuje, ma za zadanie dostarczyć merytorycznych argumentów na potwierdzenie, że w obecnych czasach jedynie społecznie odpowiedzialne organizacje mogą dać szansę osobom niepełnosprawnym stać się pełnoprawnymi uczestnikami rynku pracy.
