Artykuł wpisuje się w nurt poszukiwań osobowościowych korelatów preferencji zawodowych. Celem badań jest ustalenie współzależności między prężnością a zainteresowaniami zawodowymi. W badaniach uczestniczyło 146 maturzystów. Wykorzystano Skalę Pomiaru Prężności SPP-25 N. Ogińskiej-Bulik i Z. Juczyńskiego oraz Wielowymiarowy Kwestionariusz Preferencji A. Matczak, A. Jaworowskiej, A. Ciechanowicz, E. Zalewskiej i J. Stańczak. Ustalono, że osoby o niskim i wysokim poziomie prężności charakteryzują się różnymi zainteresowaniami zawodowymi i preferencją odmiennych środowisk i warunków pracy. Wyniki badań potwierdzają istotną rolę cech osobowościowych w kształtowaniu zainteresowań zawodowych.

This article is looking for personality correlates of professional preferences. The main aim of the study was to investigate the correlation between resiliency and professional interests. A total of 146 high school graduates took part in the study. Resiliency Assessment Scale SPP – 25 by N. Ogińska – Bulik, Z. Juczyński and Multidimensional Questionnaire of Preferences by A. Matczak, A. Jaworowskiej, A. Ciechanowicz, E. Zalewskiej, J. Stańczak were used. It has been established that people with low and high levels of resiliency have different professional interests and preferences for different backgrounds and working conditions. The results confirm the important role of personality traits in forming professional preferences.

The article presents the results of our research on the declared interests of high school students organized by categories of interest that emerge from different professional activities. The study was conducted in middle school integration, located at the Małopolska province. The diagnostic survey was used as a research method. The proven method so­‑called card of interests was adopted in our extended study. We have found big number of pupils who declare their technical and biological interests. These indicators achieved high values, such results have been observed especially among boys. In this survey we found also a significant percentage of pupils not showing readiness to take the first career decisions. We believe that such attitudes are a clear indication to work for guidance counselors working in the third stage of education.

W artykule ukazano i uzasadniono potrzebę badań zainteresowań zawodowych, edukacyjnych u studentów. Teoretyczne rozważania uzupełniono badaniami zainteresowań edukacją studentów kierunku edukacja techniczno-informatyczna. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały, że studia odgrywają znaczącą rolę w pojawianiu się i rozwoju zainteresowań edukacyjnych (wzrost wskaźnika syntetycznego od 0,86 do 2,07). Zainteresowania studentów edukacją w czasie 3,5-letniego okresu studiów stają się bardziej silne, głębokie i trwałe.

In the article it is shown and justified the need for research of vocational, educational interests of university students. Theoretical considerations have been supplemented with research of educational interests of students course of study Education in Technology and Computer Science. The research showed that studies played a significant role in the emergence and development of the interests in education (an increase of the synthetic index from 2,31 to 3,78). Students’ interest in education during the 3,5-year period of study is becoming more powerful, deep and lasting.
