The issue of customer service is very complex and it is impossible to refer it in a short paper. The fact is that service importance growing, since its level translates directly into stakes sales, profits and companies competitive positions. Quality of customer service allows to compete in an increasingly demanding markets, both domestic and international. To be competitive on the market the companies must remember to collect systematically the information about their customers, as well as continually analyze the available resources and expertise. Only the knowledge gained in this way may give rise to the development outlook for further growth.

The article raised the problem of creating innovation and stimulating the creativity of enterprises as an important area of research. An attempt was made to define innovation and its types. It also indicated that the modern innovations are an important factor of development companies, determining its competitive advantage. Therefore, the aim is to understand the innovation through the prism of scale of the use of innovative solutions, including the conditions that contribute to their implementation.

Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie problematyki zastosowania i wdrażania innowacji w przedsiębiorstwach. Punktem wyjścia zawartych w artykule rozważań jest przekonanie, że zmiany zachodzące w środowisku biznesowym wymuszają potrzebę nowego podejścia do prowadzonej działalności. A zatem próba określenia ewolucji kierunków zmian z perspektywy innowacji stanowi główny punkt odniesienia.

Dynamism of changes taking place in trade is, among others, the result of innovation. They alter the mode of operation of enterprises on the one hand, and create new shopping possibilities. Sources of innovation are many, and the way they are implemented depends on the creativity of managers. Therefore, they may result in a different range of changes made to distribution system, as well as they may differently impact market and consumers. Innovation most often refers to the novelty and originality bringing a certain benefit. In the latter case, you have to have in mind consumer needs that are often unique in case of connoisseurs of spirits. So the authors understand innovation in this paper, the aim of which is to present original solutions in the distribution of spirits, taking into account process changes and the value that they generate for the customer. The structure of the text will present some of the areas which exhibit increased transformation. They are very often connected with the technological advances that releases managers’ creativity and makes possible new business models. Particular attention will be paid to the idea of smart convenience and omnichannel sales which are boldly expanding now.

Dynamizm zachodzących w handlu zmian jest między innymi rezultatem wprowadzania innowacji, z jednej strony determinujących sposób funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw, z drugiej tworzących nowe możliwości dokonywania zakupów. Źródeł innowacji jest wiele, a sposób ich wdrożenia zależy od inwencji menedżerów. Dlatego różny może być zakres wprowadzonych do systemu dystrybucji zmian, jak również sposób ich oddziaływania na rynek i konsumentów. Najczęściej istota innowacji odnosi się do nowości i oryginalności przynoszących określoną korzyść. W tym drugim przypadku trzeba mieć na uwadze potrzeby – nierzadko specyficzne – konsumentów czy raczej smakoszy alkoholi. Tak też autorzy rozumieją innowację w niniejszym artykule, którego celem jest zaprezentowanie oryginalnych rozwiązań w dystrybucji alkoholi, z uwzględnieniem zmian po stronie procesów, jak i wartości, jaką generują one dla klienta. Konstrukcja tekstu pozwoli zaprezentować wybrane obszary, w których dokonują się wzmożone przeobrażenia. Związane są one bardzo często z postępem technologicznym, który uwalnia inwencję menedżerów i czyni możliwym realizację wielu dotąd nierealnych modeli biznesowych. Szczególna uwaga będzie zwrócona ku coraz śmielej rozwijającej się idei smart convenience oraz zintegrowanym kanałom sprzedaży (ang. omnichannel).

In recent years, the conditions for the functioning of the public hospital pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers have substantially changed. Rapidly changing environment, as well as the globalization of the pharmaceutical industry, the integration of organizational development of the IT determine the growth of interest in concepts of supply management, allowing operators to obtain medical competitive advantage. Comprehensive management is directed primarily at processes, time, quality, and partnerships with other entities (especially from pharmaceutical wholesalers). The purpose of this discussion is to draw attention to the need for a broad approach to process management flow of medical supplies and medicines, information, human factor within the medical entities integrated in the supply chain.

W ostatnich latach warunki funkcjonowania aptek szpitalnych publicznych oraz hurtowni farmaceutycznych uległy istotnej zmianie. Dynamicznie zmieniające się otoczenie, jak również globalizacja przemysłu farmaceutycznego, integracja organizacyjna, rozwój IT determinują wzrost zainteresowania koncepcjami zarządzania zaopatrzeniem, pozwalającymi uzyskać podmiotom medycznym przewagę konkurencyjną. Kompleksowe zarządzanie ukierunkowane jest przede wszystkim na procesy, czas, jakość, czy współpracę partnerską z innymi podmiotami (zwłaszcza z hurtowniami farmaceutycznymi). Celem niniejszych rozważań jest zwrócenie uwagi na konieczność szerokiego podejścia do zarządzania procesami przepływu materiałów medycznych oraz leków, informacji, czynnika ludzkiego w ramach podmiotów medycznych, zintegrowanych w łańcuchu dostaw.
