The aim of this article is to present the Crisis Management System in the Ministry of National Defence, forms of cooperation, and the role of the Polish Armed Forces, using the example of NATO's crisis response operations. The paper has been divided into several subchapters, each describing the essential elements determined by the goal of this paper, which form an integrated view of the described probloc. The following elements are specified: the crisis management system in the Ministry of National Defence, NATO crisis response operations as an international aspect of the crisis management system, and the Polish Armed Forces in NATO crisis response operations shown using examples of crisis response operations.

Artykuł prezentuje zagadnienia związane ze zwalczaniem terroryzmu. Naukowej refleksji poddaje się dwie formacje: Straż Graniczną oraz Służbę Celną, które poprzez swoje ustawowe zadania, samodzielnie oraz współpracując z innymi podmiotami, mają za cel przeciwdziałanie atakom terrorystycznym na terenie Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, głównie śledząc przepływ osób i towarów przez granicę.

The article presents the issues related to the fight against terrorism. The author takes into a scientific consideration the role of two formations: the Border Guard and the Customs Service, which, through their statutory tasks, independently and in cooperation with other entities, counteract terrorist attacks in Poland, mainly tracking the movement of people and goods across the border.

This article presents a new phenomenon in the European Union. Namely, the country abandonment from the EU Structures. The first country which made that, was the United Kingdom, as the result of the referendum form 23rd June 2016. Slightly more than half of the British people decided to leave EU. The day after the announcement of the Brexit results, media from all over the world began to comment on the unexpected results of the referendum. It has started a discussion about what will happen next? Many publicists and analysts asked how will European Union function without the one of the most important countries in Europe? What consequences await the British departing from the structures of the European Union? Is there a danger for “domino effect” in which other countries will try to leave the European Community?

Artykuł zawiera specyfikę zadań polskiej Policji wobec terroryzmu, uwzględniając bezpieczeństwo, które jest najważniejszą wartością człowieka. Na artykuł składa się przegląd przedmiotowych definicji oraz prezentacja działań stricte policyjne, mających na celu ukazanie szeroko pojętego zwalczania terroryzmu przez tę uzbrojoną formację. Zaprezentowano również umiejscowienie policji w systemie antyterrorystycznym Polski.

This article contains the specificity of the Polish police's work against terrorism, taking into account security, which is the most important human value. It is described basic definitions connected to main topic at the beginning of the article. In addition, there is pre-sented police actions aimed at demonstrating the widely defined fight against terrorism by this armed formation. Article also presented the location of the police in the anti-terrorist system of Poland.
