The article describes the psychosocial characteristics of Catholic priests and the factors relevant to their social functioning. The theoretical basis of the construct of resilience and the development of attachment behaviors were also presented, which in turn made it possible to focus on presenting the characteristics of patterns of attachment to God. A distinction was also made between spirituality and religiosity, which allowed to characterize the construct of spiritual well-being.

W artykule opisano charakterystykę psychospołeczną księży katolickich oraz czynników mających znaczenie dla ich funkcjonowania społecznego. Przedstawiono również podstawy teoretyczne konstruktu prężności oraz rozwój zachowań przywiązaniowych, co w konsekwencji umożliwiło skoncentrowanie się na zaprezentowaniu charakterystyki wzorców przywiązania do Boga. Dokonano również rozróżnienia między duchowością a religijnością, co pozwoliło scharakteryzować konstrukt dotyczący duchowego dobrostanu.
