The liturgical renewal of the Vaticanum II defined a series of postulates that the fathers intended to give new expression to the liturgy of the Roman Church. These postulates were formulated primarily in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy Sacrosanctum Concilium, which became the founding document of the subsequent reform. Among those postulates, some were formulated in precise terms, while others - not written down explicitly - derive from the spirit of the proposed reform. One of these non-explicitly articulated postulates is the concern for the shape of the ars celebrandi. In this study, the author tries to articulate the conciliar indications on this issue and, from the perspective of six decades, evaluate their reception in the liturgy of the Roman Church.

Odnowa liturgiczna Soboru Watykańskiego II zdefiniowała szereg postulatów, które w zamierzeniu ojców miały nadać nowy wyraz liturgii Kościoła rzymskiego. Owe postulaty określone zostały przede wszystkim w konstytucji o liturgii świętej Sacrosanctum Concilium, która stała się dokumentem założycielskim późniejszej reformy. Wśród rzeczonych postulatów część została sformułowana w sposób precyzyjny, natomiast inne – nie zapisane explicite – wynikają z ducha proponowanej reformy. Jednym z tych nie wyartykułowanych wprost postulatów jest troska o kształt sztuki celebrowania (ars celebrandi) liturgii. W niniejszym studium autor stara się wyartykułować soborowe wskazania dotyczące tej problematyki i z perspektywy sześciu dekad dokonać ewaluacji ich recepcji w liturgii Kościoła rzymskiego.

In all liturgical traditions of the Christian world Christmas is preceded by a preparative season. From the theological point of view this season - Advent, has a double dimention: eschatological and the one related to the mystery of Incarnation of Jesus Christ. In the traditions of the Syriac Churches the Sundays of preparation to the Nativity of the Lord focus on the described in the Gospels so called “annunciations” (syr: subārā). This paper is an attempt to outline the theological ideas present in the Advent euchology of the Syriac Churches.

We wszystkich tradycjach liturgicznych świata chrześcijańskiego Boże Narodzenie poprzedzone jest okresem przygotowania. Z teologicznego punktu widzenia ten okres, Adwent, posiada podwójny wymiar: eschatologiczny oraz nawiązujący do tajemnicy Wcielenia Jezusa Chrystusa. W tradycjach Kościołów syryjskich kolejne niedziele przygotowania do Bożego Narodzenia koncentrują się na przekazanych w Ewangeliach tzw. „zwiastowaniach” (syr: subārā). Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę zarysu idei teologicznych obecnych w euchologii adwentowej Kościołów syryjskich.

The Church, which is the Mystical Body of Christ, gives to the believer incorporation into this mystery but it also requires of them assent to its divine origin. The faith is presented to the believer through this reality both in the ancient symbols of the Church but also in its liturgy, which is the primary theological ground allowing a person to profess and celebrate faith that is rooted in the Church of Christ. In this study the author recalls some assumptions of the relationship between the liturgy and the Church, reflects on the liturgy sees as a sacred space for manifesting faith and reflects on the ars celebrandi and its impact on building faith in the Church of Christ.

Kościół, będący Mistycznym Ciałem Chrystusa, domaga się od wiernych nie tylko ich przynależności, ale wiary w jego boskie pochodzenie. Ta wiara, obecna w starożytnych symbolach, kształtowana jest na liturgii i przez liturgię. Liturgia bowiem, będąc pierwszym miejscem teologicznym, jest też naturalnym biotopem wyznawania i celebrowania tejże wiary. W niniejszym studium autor przypomina założenia relacji liturgii do Kościoła, poddaje refleksji liturgię rozumianą jako przestrzeń manifestacji wiary w Kościół oraz snuje refleksję nad obecna w temacie ars celebrandi i jej wpływem na budowanie wiary w Kościół Chrystusowy.

Marriage seen as union between man and woman, which was constituted by the will of the Creator Himself, is held in high esteem by every liturgical and theological tradition. The Assyrian Church of the East is no exception, even if in her canonical discipline the marriage is not included in the list of the sacraments. This study is a presentation of the theological thought and liturgical practice of marriage in the venerable and ancient Christian tradition. The analysis concerns: the issue of the sacramental understanding of marriage; the brief history of the development of the rite; the presentation of the structure of marriage ceremony; the canonical possibility of divorce. The main part of this article refers to the liturgical rite of marriage, which in the Assyrian Church of the East appears as one of the most complex among all the Christian marriage liturgies. In the last part we put some reflections, which can become a humble contribution to the further discussion on the vision of marriage in the contemporary world.

Małżeństwo rozumiane jako związek mężczyzny i kobiety, ustanowione z woli samego Stwórcy, w każdej tradycji liturgicznej cieszy się wielkim szacunkiem. Asyryjski Kościół Wschodu nie jest tu wyjątkiem, chociaż w dyscyplinie kanonicznej nie nazywa małżeństwa sakramentem. Niniejsze studium stanowi prezentację myśli teologicznej i praktyki liturgicznej związanej z małżeństwem w tej czcigodnej i starożytnej tradycji Kościoła. Analiza obejmuje kolejno kwestię rozumienia małżeństwa jako sakramentu, krótką historię rozwoju obrzędu, prezentację struktury ceremonii oraz kanoniczną dopuszczalność rozwodu. Najwięcej miejsca poświęca się liturgicznemu obrzędowi małżeństwa, który jawi się jako jeden z najbardziej rozbudowanych spośród wszystkich liturgii ślubnych Kościoła. W ostatniej części, podsumowującej całość studium, znajduje się kilka refleksji, które mogą stać się przyczynkiem do podjęcia dyskusji nad wizją małżeństwa we współczesnym świecie.
