W artykule, który ma charakter komunikatu z badań, poświęconych interakcjom pomiędzy turystami a personelem podmiotów zajmujących się obsługą ruchu turystycznego, zaprezentowano jeden z ważnych aspektów pola przedmiotowego: konsekwencje obecności “Obcego” w przestrzeni udostępnionej. Za pomocą procedur strategii teorii ugruntowanej wyróżniono dwie wiązki strategii modelowania pola interakcji z “obcymi”. “Uprzejma Obsługa” polega na takim zaaranżowaniu tego pola, które pozwala utrzymać równowagę pomiędzy kontrolą i otwartością na “obcego” poprzez utrzymanie go w swego rodzaju dystansie. “Rodzinna Atmosfera” z kolei polega na kontroli “obcych” poprzez włączenie tych, którzy przejdą specyficzny proces selekcji, w sieć więzi.

This paper presents the results of empirical study on interactions between people involved in tourism. The paper adresses one of the most important condition those interactions: experience of 'tourist teams'. Using the grounded theory methodology, the lines of activity of 'tourist teams' and four basic strategies underpinning them are distinguished. These strategies are: an 'assimilation' of resources rendered-accessible-space by 'trying on', an interpretation by 'body-operation' and using a 'new' context for interpreting an 'old' one. The fourth strategy, relatively independent of rendered-accessible-space is a 'fun'. The paper addresses some consequences of lines of activity established by 'tourist teams' for identities of the team's members.

W artykule przedstawione zostały współczesne warianty metodologii teorii ugruntowanej. Krótko przedstawiono: analizę poprzez różnicowanie wymiarów, metodologię teorii ugruntowanej w wydaniu Juliet Corbin, analizę sytuacyjną Adele E. Clarke oraz konstruktywistyczną teorię ugruntowaną Kathy Charmaz. Te odmiany teorii ugruntowanej, wyraźnie nawiązując do tradycji pragmatyzmu i interakcjonizmu, stanowią jednocześnie próbę zinterpretowania teorii ugruntowanej w świetle idei postmodernistycznych.

This article addresses contemporary versions of grounded theory methodology. Dimensional analysis, Juliet Corbin's grounded theory methodology, situational analysis by Adele Clarke and constructivist grounded theory by Kathy Charmaz are discussed briefly. Each of these versions of grounded theory methodology explicitly draws on American pragmatism and symbolic interactionism and at the same time constitute an attempt at repositioning grounded theory in the light of postmodern philosophical and epistemological challenges.
