The scientific journal of the Diocese of Rzeszów Resovia Sacra was founded in 1994. Over the 25 years of its existence, 22 volumes have been published, including three covering a period of two or three years. The purpose of this article is to attempt to show the history of the scientific journal of the Diocese of Rzeszów in its first 25 years (1994–2019). This paper discusses the origins and development of the journal, its scope and purpose, those involved in its publication and content, research issues, journal structure and statistics, membership in scientific databases, and development prospects for the coming years.

Czasopismo naukowe diecezji rzeszowskiej „Resovia Sacra” zostało założone w 1994 roku. Przez 25 lat jego istnienia ukazały się 22 tomy, w tym trzy obejmujące okres dwóch lub trzech lat. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba ukazania historii czasopisma naukowego diecezji rzeszowskiej w pierwszych 25 latach jego funkcjonowania (1994-2019). W związku z tym w niniejszym opracowaniu omówiono powstanie i rozwój czasopisma, jego zakres i cel, osoby zaangażowane w jego wydawanie i treść, problematykę badawczą, strukturę czasopisma i dane statystyczne, przynależność do baz danych naukowych oraz perspektywy rozwoju na kolejne lata.
