The aim of the article is to attempt to determine the participation and role of women in selected terrorist organizations. The article presents the causes and motives for women’s involvement in terrorist activities. A wide spectrum of women’s activities in selected terrorist groups was also characterized, ranging from supporting and logistic roles to leadership and active participation in terrorist attacks. This article is based on the author’s bachelor’s thesis with the same title.

Celem artykułu jest próba określenia udziału i roli kobiet w wybranych organizacjach terrorystycznych. W artykule przedstawiono przyczyny i motywy angażowania się kobiet w działalność terrorystyczną. Scharakteryzowano także szerokie spektrum aktywności kobiet w wybranych grupach terrorystycznych: od ról wspierających i logistycznych do przywództwa i aktywnego udziału w zamachach terrorystycznych włącznie. Artykuł powstał na podstawie pracy licencjackiej autorki o tym samym tytule.
