Istota prewencji terrorystycznej w kontekście podnoszenia poziomu świadomości społeczeństwa w obszarze bezpieczeństwa

Purpose: The aim of the article is to discuss the essence of terrorist prevention in the context of raising public awareness in the area of security. Methods: The article uses theoretical research methods. Research problems were identified, analysed, compared and concluded. Analysis of available literature and research reports were checked. Educational programs, tools and forms were examined and recipients were reviewed. Results: Basic concepts were formulated. The tools and forms most frequently used in antiterrorism education were identified and then described. The main educational campaigns and programmes were indicated. A key aspect was the identification of the main recipients of prevention activities. Discussion: The conclusions of the research indicate the need for systemic actions in the field of anti-terrorist education. Their small number points to the low public awareness and the marginal treatment of the threat.

Cel: Celem artykułu jest omówienie istoty prewencji terrorystycznej w kontekście podnoszenia poziomu świadomości społeczeństwa w obszarze bezpieczeństwa. Metody: W artykule zastosowano metody badawcze o charakterze teoretycznym. Wskazano na problemy badawcze, które następnie poddano analizie, porównaniu oraz wnioskowaniu. Dokonano analizy dostępnej literatury, raportów z badań. Badaniom poddano programy edukacyjne, wykorzystywane narzędzia i formy, oraz wskazano adresatów działań prewencyjnych i profilaktycznych. Wyniki: Wyniki przeprowadzonej analizy pozwoliły sformułować podstawowe pojęcia omawianego tematu. Ponadto wyodrębniono, a następnie opisano narzędzia i formy, które najczęściej stosowano w edukacji antyterrorystycznej. Wskazano główne kampanie i programy edukacyjne. Kluczowym aspektem było wyodrębnienie zasadniczych adresatów działań profilaktycznych. Omówienie: Wnioski z przeprowadzonych badań wskazują na konieczność podejmowania systemowych działań z zakresu edukacji antyterrorystycznej.
