The paper gives an analysis of the 3rd, post-war period of the history of the first philosophical journal established in Slovakia. The publishing of the periodical was marked by the rapidly changing social conditions and the ruptures. This resulted in the personal change on the position of the editor-in-chief and other changes, such as the new contentual orientation, suppressing the plurality of philosophical stands, and finally in the destruction of the periodical.
