The article is an overview and focuses on describing selected problems that determine the dysfunctionality of families in modern times. The article focuses on alcoholism, violence and unemployment. The purpose of the article was to show the difficulties faced by families, which very often cannot overcome the accumulating problems on their own. Circularity, which is a characteristic feature of families in their systemic view, makes it impossible to overcome difficulties and problems without professional support and assistance.

Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy i koncentruje się na opisaniu wybranych problemów, które powodują dysfunkcyjność rodzin. W szczególności skoncentrowano się na alkoholizmie, przemocy oraz bezrobociu. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie trudności, z jakimi muszą sobie radzić rodziny, które bardzo często nie potrafią w sposób samodzielny przezwyciężyć nawarstwiających się problemów. Cyrkularność, która jest charakterystyczną cechą rodzin w ich systemowym ujęciu, powoduje, że bez profesjonalnego wsparcia i pomocy nie ma możliwości pokonania trudności i problemów.
