The pragmatics of being silent is closely connected with the pragmatics of speech. Paremia as an non-communicative unit represents silence as a zero speech act. The article focuses on the analysis of parameters of non-verbal communication that motivate behaviour of a person.

Pragmatyka milczenia jest nierozerwalnie powiązania z pragmatyką mówienia. W paremiach, jako jednostkach komunikacji językowej, milczenie rozpatrywane jest jako zerowy akt procesu mówienia. W artykule przeanalizowane zostały parametry komunikacji niewerbalnej motywujące zachowanie komunikacyjne człowieka.

W artykule podjęto próbę omówienia kunsztu poetyckiego S. Rudanskiego w operowaniu środkami niewerbalnymi, które wykorzystane zostały w humoreskach poety. Sposoby omówienia niewerbalności w dyskursie artystycznym służą do realizacji szeregu pragmatycznych funkcji: przy ich pomocy wyrażana jest specyfi ka narodowego charakteru Ukraińców, tj.: ukraiński kordocentryzm, pogłębiona emocjonalność oraz ekspresyjność, pragnienie stworzenie języka o większej dynamice, „żywotności”, intymności.

The means of verbalizing the non-verbal in the artistic discourse serve the realization of a set of pragmatic functions: the representation of the Ukrainians’ national character specifi city, for example, cordocentricity, high emotivity and expressiveness, a desire to make the speech more dynamic and live, more intimate.

The article deals with the actualization of the study methodology of the nonverbal communication (NC) national parameters, verbalized by means of phraseological units (PhU) in Ukrainian, Polish, Russian ethnoses as these that have common eastern Slavic roots. The use of the comparative contrastive method of analysis facilitated the process of revealing the pragmatic mechanisms of the communicative senses of phraseological units with the non-verbal components.

W artykule przeanalizowano metodykę badań nad parametrami komunikacji niewerbalnej, werbalizowanymi poprzez jednostki frazeologiczne ukraińskiego, polskiego, rosyjskiego etnosu, które łączą wspólne wschodniosłowiańskie korzenie. Zastosowanie komparatywno-porównawczej metody analizy sprzyja ujawnieniu pragmatycznych mechanizmów tworzenia komunikacyjnych znaczeń frazeologizmów z komponentami niewerbalnymi.

Interdisciplinary character of modern linguistics determined a new look at an authorial text as the indicator of a language personality elitism. The article deals with M. Kotsyubinskiy’s literary texts. They successfully combine the descriptive and expressive means of rendering emotions in non-verbal communication, verbalized in various communicative situations. Decoding of different created communicative senses facilitates discursive competence in general.

Międzydyscyplinarny charakter współczesnego językoznawstwa uwarunkował nowe spojrzenie na tekst autorski jako wskaźnik elitarności osobowości językowej. W artykule przeanalizowano literackie teksty M. Kociubynskiego charakteryzujące się udanym połączeniem sposobów opisu i wyrażania emocji za pomocą niewerbalnych środków komunikacji, oddających treści stosownie do różnorodnych funkcji komunikacji i tych, które kształtują różne sensy komunikatywne, co z kolei rozwija kompetencje językowe.

The outlook bases of the writers of the 60-s play an important role in the formation and development of the system of esthetic fundamentals - the unity of traditions (world and national), individualization, intellectualism, estheticism, elite, metaphoric thinking. In Ukrainian linguistic studies there is a lack of the scientific researches that would focus on the actualization of the representation of the means of a non-verbal communication in a fiction discourse written by the writers of the 60-s. Their texts illustrate the examples of a nonverbal communication representing it by peculiar linguo-stylistic means.

Zasady światopoglądu sześćdziesiątników leżą u podstaw kształtowania i rozwoju systemu zasad estetycznych - jedności tradycji (narodowych i ogólnoświatowych) i nowatorstwa, takich jak: indywidualizacja, intelektualizm, estetyzm, elitarność, myślenie metaforyczne, obrazowe. Pomimo, iż teksty przedstawicieli generacji lat 60. XX w. wyraźnie ilustrują przykłady komunikacji niewerbalnej z wykorzystaniem specyficznych środków stylistycznych, w ukraińskim językoznawstwie nie prowadzono badań naukowych poświęconych zagadnieniom komunikacji niewerbalnej w dyskursie literackim sześćdziesiątników.
