Play is an activity that a child undertakes throughout his life, thanks to which he develops on many levels. A toy, on the other hand, is a tool used during play. However, what is important is how important it is to undertake play activities in the development of the child’s speech and the development of the child in general. Also, choosing the right toy is a real challenge, because a toy that seems attractive and interesting for a child can cause a lot of damage to its development. This article explains the concepts of the child’s speech development, play, and toys, and determines their importance in the speech development of a preschool child.

Zabawa jest aktywnością, którą dziecko podejmuje w ciągu swojego życia, dzięki niej się rozwija na wielu płaszczyznach. Zabawka to z kolei narzędzie używane podczas zabawy. Jednak znaczenie ma to, jak istotne jest podejmowanie aktywności zabawy w rozwoju mowy dziecka i rozwoju dziecka w ogóle. Także wybór odpowiedniej zabawki stanowi nie lada wyzwanie, gdyż zabawka z pozoru atrakcyjna i ciekawa dla dziecka może wyrządzić wiele szkód w jego rozwoju. W niniejszym artykule wyjaśniono pojęcia rozwoju mowy dziecka, zabawy, zabawki i określono ich znaczenie w rozwoju mowy dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym.
