The article presents the museums, their potential and their significance for cultural tourism in Poland. Its aims are achieved through a presentation of registered national museums, ‘monuments of history’, museum buildings and the cultural activities undertaken by these institutions.

The article aims to present the cultural potential of Spycimierz and to indicate the possibilities of using it for the development of tourism. Taking into account the resources of the village related to the natural and historical heritage, preserved and cultivated traditions and the involvement of the community of residents, the authors make an attempt to create a tourist product „Spycimierz ‒ a flower village”, complementing and making the current offer of Uniejów and the surrounding area more attractive. The preparation of a tourist product, which is part of this offer, should not only bring the local community certain economic benefits, but also integrate the community additionally, also around activities other than just joint preparation of religious celebrations.

Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie potencjału kulturowego Spycimierza oraz wskazanie możliwości jego wykorzystania dla rozwoju turystyki. Biorąc pod uwagę zasoby miejscowości związane z dziedzictwem przyrodniczym, historycznym, zachowanymi i kultywowanymi tradycjami oraz zaangażowaniem wspólnoty mieszkańców, autorzy podejmują próbę stworzenia produktu turystycznego „Spycimierz ‒ kwiatowa wieś”, uzupełniającego i uatrakcyjniającego dotychczasową ofertę Uniejowa i okolic. Przygotowanie produktu turystycznego, będącego częścią tej oferty, nie tylko powinno przynieść lokalnej społeczności określone korzyści ekonomiczne, ale także dodatkowo zintegrować wspólnotę wokół innych działań niż wspólne przygotowywanie uroczystości religijnych.
